Matthias Coufal studied Agricultural Sciences at the University of Hohenheim and Agricultural Marketing and Management in Weihenstephan. Already during his studies, he intensively and scientifically studied the plant hemp with a particular focus on sustainable cultivation, ingredients and potential uses.
As co-founder of HANS Brainfood, he is responsible for hemp cultivation, variety selection and raw material quality. With many years of experience in plant cultivation and sound expertise in precision farming he continuously optimizes production conditions - a clear advantage for modern cannabis cultivation. In addition, he is acts as a consultant for cannabis cultivation and supports companies in variety selection, site evaluation and cultivation strategy.
His focus is on variety development, resource-conserving cultivation and the holistic use of the hemp plant.
