These flaxseed wraps are perfect for a low-carb diet and, of course, for anyone who can't resist an incredibly tasty flaxseed wrap! 😅❤️
Ingredients
...for the homemade wrap dough:
1 cup ground linseed
1 cup of water
1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp garlic (ground)
and spices of your choice
...for the filling
1 avocado
2 spring onions
50 g feta
30 g rocket
2 tomatoes
Dip of your choice
This is how it's done 💪
Mix the ground linseed with the spices. Pour a cup of water into a non-stick pan and bring to the boil.
As soon as the water boils, add the linseed flour and work into a lump of dough using a wooden spoon. Continue to knead the dough with your hands.
If the dough is too sticky, add a little more linseed. Now divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll out 1 piece at a time between two sheets of baking paper using a rolling pin to form a smooth, round dough.
As a rule, the dough should make 4-5 tortillas. The tortillas can then be baked briefly on both sides in a non-stick pan without oil on a medium heat, baking the tortilla for 1-2 minutes on each side in the pan.
The flaxseed tortilla can then be topped as desired. ☺️
