Hemp in bowls, smoothies and shakes? Sure, but there's so much more! We particularly like our hemp because it is so versatile - other spices can pack their bags.😉
Hemp protein as a flour substitute for baking
Due to its slightly nutty taste, hemp protein is ideal for baking bread, cakes and cookies. How about our redcurrant cake, banana waffles or our favorite hemp protein bread? Or is hemp protein perhaps the last chance to breathe new life into the banana bread you got tired of during the coronavirus pandemic? There are no limits to your imagination: try out for yourself which of your favorite recipes you can give a new flavor with hemp protein. We generally recommend replacing around 10 to 15 percent of the flour with hemp protein to maintain the consistency of the dough.
It should be noted that the nutrients suffer from the heat during baking: unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals are at least partially destroyed. However, the nutty taste and amino acids are retained, making hemp protein a real added value for sweet or savory baked goods.
Hemp, you multi-talent!
Real minimalists use hemp protein like other spices and top raw food with our protein mixes, for example. But you can also season dressings and spreads with our protein powders to take their taste to a new level. At the same time, our protein powders thicken salad dressings and co. and ensure that they turn out the way we like them best: dreamy creamy!😊 That's why our proteins can also be used to season and bind sauces and in (vegetable) soups and so on and so forth ... You can see - the possibilities are endless! So here too: just try it out. As always, we would of course be delighted if you share your creations on Instagram and link us to them.
